A rotary duplicating machine comprises a rotatable printing drum 6, Fig. 1, and is operable as an addressing machine by passing a plurality of printing members 1 therethrough, a separate receptacle 10 being arranged behind the printing line 3 for collecting the printing members 1, guide members 7, 9 being provided for separating the printed copy sheets 4 from the printing members 1 and for guiding the sheets 4 into a tray 8 beneath the collecting receptacle 10. The members 1 are narrower and stiffer than the sheets 4 which are deflected by laterally-spaced members 7 into the tray 8. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, a liquid container 11 embodies a guide lla for a fixed printing member 12 which is fed to the printing drum 14 and clamped thereto at 13. Further printing members 17 are fed via the guide 11a, and further similar printing members 18 may be fed simultaneously over a guide 19 disposed on a moistening device 20. A mark or step may be provided on the container 11 in order to ensure that the printing member 17, is correctly displaced laterally relative to the member 18. Thus the same matter is printed on all the copy sheets from the printing member 12, while different texts, respective to each sheet, are printed by the members 17, 18. The printing members 1, Fig. 1, and 17, 18, Fig. 2, are pre-inked mirror-script originals.
