Abstract

1308968 Electro-photographic copiers SUNBEAM BUSINESS EQUIPMENT CO 29 June 1970 [6 Aug 1969] 31340/70 Heading G2H An electro-photographic copier has a lid 17 which can be hinged up to provide access to the feed path of the original sheet, As shown superimposed original and copy sheets (not shown), are manually slid from left to right along the top of lid 17 and separated by an edge 22 for feeding along respective paths, the original feed path comprising a passage 19; rollers 36, 37; guides 40, 41, 49, 50; rollers 54, 55 and guides 33, 57. Members 19, 37, 41, 49, 55 and 57 are mounted in the main body of the copier, whereas members 36, 40, 50, 54 and 33 are mounted on the underside of lid 17 which can be pivoted upwards, in a clockwise direction, about a shaft 35. The original is illuminated at an aperture 45 having a gravity biased hold down plate 50 and guide strands 49, (Specification 1308969). claims a switch device 42, 52 locked in the original feed path. (Specification 1308970) claims the optical, developing and drying systems of the copies.
