Abstract

1308970 Electro-photographic copiers SUNBEAM BUSINESS EQUIPMENT CO 29 June 1970 28795/72 Divided out of 1308968 Heading G2H An original (not shown) is fed past an aperture 45, illuminated by a lamp 44, and the resulting image is projected by a mirror 74 and a lens 75 along a light.tunnel 79 onto a charged copy sheet (not shown) fed past an aperture 70. The exposed copy sheet is passed through a liquid developer tray 99 and fed to a tray 111, being dried by a fan 119, which draws air over the lamp 44 and through a perforated plate 118 located under the tunnel 79. Preferably a shutter 130 is located in the light path to adjust the light intensity. Access to the feed path of the original may be provided by a hinged lid 17 which is claimed in Specification 1308968. Energizing of the lamp 44 and corona discharge device 67 may be controlled by a switch 43 which has trip arms 42, 52 located before and after the aperture 45 in the original feed path. This switch arrangement is claimed in Specification 1308969.
