Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain many copy sheet of a same picture durig a printing operation of one time by means of combining rotary drum, copy roller and a device softening ink, with ink jet recording device. CONSTITUTION:A picture is formed at a predetermined part of an ink receiving means on a rotary drum 8 by ink particles through an ink head 2. Next, if necessary, said ink is softened by an ink softening device 12 composed of an equipment generating an ink solvent-spray and a heating device. Thereafter, said picture is copied on a recording sheet transferred continuously into a gap between a rotary drum 8 and copy roller 11 from a cassette 13 which supplys paper. The copied sheets are sent to a tray 19 which discharges papers. After a desireable number of print sheet are obtained, residual ink on the ink receiving member is removed by keeping a cleaning member 20 in contact with the rotary drum 8. Thus, the apparatus repeats said operation after removing ink by the cleaning device.
