672,777. Insoles &c. SCOTTISH CO-OPERATIVE WHOLESALE SOCIETY, Ltd. Oct. 25, 1949 [Sept. 25, 1948], No. 25082/48. 'Class 17 (ii). An insole 10 for veldtschoen is formed with a downward peripheral step by moulding a blank cut to about half an inch longer than the last bottom. It is secured to an out-turned upper 13 by a seam 14 on the downwardly projecting part 11 and to an outsole 16 by a seam 17. The step may not extend round the heel part which may be made separately and stuck to the forepart. The Provisional Specification describes a construction where the edge of the insole is turned down but not outwards at the edge.
