672,072. Automatic guns. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK. April 25, 1950. [April 29, 1949] No. 10196/50. Class 92 (ii). A safety device prevents the insertion of a cartridge magazine into the loading opening when the threaded sleeve 3 locking the barrel 1 to the breech casing 2 is in the unlocked position. In the form shown, a pin 15, pressed by a spring 16 into engagement with a cam groove 13 in the sleeve 3 is withdrawn from a recess 8 provided for the reception of the front locking projection on the box magazine 10. When the sleeve is turned for unlocking by handle 6, the pin 15 is projected into the recess 8 and prevents attachment of the magazine.
