Abstract
381,827. Automatic guns. SCOTTI, A., 24, Via Silvio Pellico, ANELOTTI, G. B., 34, Via del Sebino, and CAMPI, B. G., 15, Via Monte Grappa, all in Brescia, Italy. Feb. 24, 1932, No. 5542. Convention date, Feb. 24, 1931. [Classes 92 (ii) and 119.] A breech-bolt 5 which is urged along guide grooves 5b, 5c towards the closed position by the firing-pin 4 under the action of a spring 6 is positively locked in the fully closed position by projections 4a on the pin which can only engage recesses 5d in the breech-bolt when the latter has been rotated into the locking position by the inclined portions 5c of the guide grooves. After firing, the projection 4c on the firing-pin is engaged by a gas-operated rod 3 or by the recoiling barrel to move the pin rearwardly to unlock the breech-bolt.
