670,935. Venetian blinds. LEVOLOR LORENTZEN. Inc. June 16, 1950 [Aug. 11, 1949], No. 15056/50. Class 20(iii) The support 15 for the tilter mechanism 12 of a venetian blind is in the form of an inverted T. The vertical leg carries the worm 20 and wormwheel 26, the former being operated by the pulley-shaft 21 extending transversely to the head assembly, and the latter carrying the tilter rod which extends longitudinally through the head assembly. The portion 35 of the horizontal portion of the T lying to one side of the vertical leg is formed from the metal struck out from the vertical leg between its edges, the portion 19 of the vertical leg from which the metal has been struck forming an opening for the passage of a lift cord.
