A tapered nozzle 2 for containers, especially for containers of the collapsable type having a long tapered nozzle for injecting medicinal substances into animals is hermetically sealed by a screwon cap 3 having a conical part 6 which tightly fits over the conical end of the nozzle 2 and when fully screwed down leaves a space 7 containing air under pressure. The cap engages the nozzle only approximately along a quarter of the length of the nozzle.
