669,315. Potato - slicing machines. NEGRINI, G. Nov. 4, 1949. [Nov. 4, 1948] No. 28655/48. Class 5(i). Potatoes are sliced by a knife 31 fixed almost radially to a disc 12 rotated by a motor 15 housed in the casing 10. From the partitioned space 23 in the upper part of the casing the potatoes slide through openings 25, 26 into the converging shoot 27 and into engagement with the knife on the disc 12. The slices pass from the knife 31 through an adjacent opening 30. A detachable cover 11 and guard plate 33 isolate the cutter.
