[Also in Group XI] Before passing metallic tubing formed from strip metal into a brazing furnace such as is described in Specification 527,093, the tubing is preheated by passing it through an apparatus (see Group XI) providing a non-oxidizing atmosphere between spaced electrodes and arranged such that the tube is heated by current passing lengthwise through it.
