665,812. Boxes. ROLLINSON, E. W. (Sutherland Paper Co.). Dec. 30, 1949. No 33354/49. Class 18. A box with a hinged lid has front and rear wall corner flaps 6, 10 with tongues 17 for engagement with open ended slits 18 extending upwardly from the ends of the end walls 4, the lid also having downwardly projecting portions 29, 28 and tongues 30 for engaging in the slits on the outside of the flaps 6, 10. As shown, the front wall 2 and the corner flaps 6 have extension flaps 12, 8 that can be folded inwardly and the lid has a tongue 27 for engagement with a slit in the front wall 2. The box body and the lid may be folded from a unitary blank Fig. 5 and may have a lining 31 secured thereto at 32, 33, 34 so that it is folded into position when the box is erected.
