658,499. Shelf brackets. SPARRING, B. Dec. 5, 1949, No. 31198. [Class 52 (v)] A supporting bracket for show-cases, shelves, &c., comprises a channel shaped supporting member 1 with vertical openings 4, and a U- sectioned bracket arm 5 closed by a transverse front wall 10 the arm being provided with hooks 7 and lugs 28 which engage in the openings 4. To prevent accidental displacement the overhang of each hook 7 is greater than the distance between the upper edge of the lug 28 and the upper end of the opening. A show case 22 has projections 24 which fit within the U-shaped bracket and hold the case in position.
