Abstract

Fibres and fabrics of synthetic polyamides and polyesters are dyed by means of sulphur dyes used in a dye concentration of at least 50 per cent calculated as a percentage of the weight of the fibres. Preferably the dyestuff is reduced with sodium hydrosulphite in the presence of ammonia.
