653,646. Discharge apparatus. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF TECHNICAL SERVICES OF. Feb. 27, 1948, No. 5970. Convention date, Nov. 6, 1945. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group XL (c)] An ultra-high-frequency valve oscillator comprises two coaxial resonators formed by an inner conductor 10 connected to the cathode of the valve, an outer conductor 13 connected to the anode and an intermediate conductor 11 connected to the grid by coupling-means which extends from the inner resonator through an aperture in the intermediate conductor into the outer resonator. The coupling means may comprise contact-fingers 15 which connect to a cylindrical extension of the grid, one or more of the fingers forming an S-shaped loop connected at the far end to the intermediate conductor.
