651,509. Reservoir pens. CIA URUGUAYA DE FOMENTO INDUSTRIAL SOC. ANON. Jan. 26, 1948, No. 13210/50. Divided out of 651,481. Drawings to Specification. [Class 146 (iii)] A reservoir for a ball-point pen comprises a non-capillary part, an ink-feed duct which is of capillary size at least adjacent to the non-capillary part, and an air inlet constituted by a capillary duct, the volume of the air inlet being sufficiently large to prevent ink running out of it under the combined effects of gravity and expansion of the contents of the non-capillary part due to variations in temperature and atmospheric pressure. The embodiment described is similar to that described in Specificaton 651,481. Specifications 564,172, 571,698, 573,747, 602,101, 609,817 and 629,283 also are referred to.
