Abstract

<PICT:0649665/IV (c)/1> <PICT:0649665/IV (c)/2> Apparatus for treating hanks of yarn with liquids comprising a chamber 4 with a water-tight door 5, supports 6 in the chamber from front to back supporting rods or tubes 17 packed with hanks of yarn, further supports 7 on which a gauze tray 8 is mounted, liquid-spraying nozzles 9 being provided to spray water on to the tray which flows evenly down on to the floor of yarn below, a waste opening 10 being provided in the bottom of the chamber and liquid circulating means being provided for use when required.
