1,190,797. Treating a web with liquid. VEPA A.G. 31 July, 1967 [30 July, 1966; 31 Aug., 1966], No. 35066/67. Heading D1L. A web of textile material is treated with a liquid by passage round the lower or upper side of a gravity flow sieve drum partially or completely immersed in a liquid. Before or after passing round the lower side, the material may 'be pulsated with liquid by an element 19 (Fig. 3) or sprayed with liquid from tubes 20 (Fig. 5). When passed round the upper side, the material may be sprinkled with liquid from a container 22 (Fig. 4).
