859,449. Treatment chambers. HIGGS, G.,W. June 25, 1959 [March 28, 1958], No. 10089/58. Addition to 805,133. Class 81 (2) A treatment chamber according to the parent Specification is provided with a trough 75 for receiving ice in the upper part of the chamber, an oxygen supply fitting 82, which embodies an injector device operated by oxygen, for supplying oxygen and entrained mist or spray to the chamber or a fan or blower 86 which supplies air from a remote source to the air admission opening 53. The ice trough 75, which has a perforated or mesh material bottom, depends from a fixed upper part of the canopy which is transparent. A drip fray 76 beneath the trough is connected by a drainage tube 77 with the water tank through which air supplied to the chamber is humidified. Additional oxygen is supplied through a pipe 81 to an injector nozzle in the oxygen fitting 82 where it entrains liquid from a bottle attached to the fitting. A stay 89 is hinged to a hinged portion 15 of the canopy which it supports at any degree of opening, the stay passing between pads which are secured by a bracket 92 to the inside of an end wall of the canopy and which frictionally grip the stay when the hinged portion is not being manually raised or lowered.
