Abstract

646,664. Vehicle wheels. FERIDAX, Ltd., and COLLIER, R. G. July 26, 1948, No. 19872. [Class 144 (i)] A resilient hub, stated to be particularly applicable for cycle wheels, comprises inner and outer concentric members 1, 2 having spaced flanges 5, 6 bonded to a rubber suspension-ring 7 which acts in shear to support the load. For axial and radial stability, a flange 15 on one of the hub members is in a channel 14 on the other member. A rubber buffer may be fitted on the bottom 16 of the channel 14.
