644,809. Roofs; slabs. RATHSAM, O. G. Oct. 31, 1947, No. 29187. Convention date, Nov. 1, 1946. [Classes 20(iii), 20(iv) and 87(i)] A roofing slab comprises a sloping roof layer 1 and a horizontal ceiling layer 2 connected by solid or apertured side walls 6 or by vertical struts. Glass panels may be included in the layers 1, 2 or laid between adjacent slabs. The ceiling layer 2 may be extended at 9 to provide a continuous ceiling below the glass panels 8. A positioning rib or projection 3 may be provided on the underside of the slab. The lateral joints between slabs may comprise square or undercut ribs 11 covered by a capping 12 or they may be lap joints.
