[Class 44] [Also in Group VI] A clamp, particularly adapted for securing a fishing net 11 to a float 12, comprises a pair of half sections 15, hinged at 16, and each having recesses 17, 18 with an inwardly projecting shoulder between the recesses, and transverse bores for a screw 21 adapted to hold the parts together. The end of the sections are formed with a cooperating tongue 19 and groove 20 respectively to prevent the rod or like held in the recess 17 from slipping out if the sections are slightly separated by loosening of the screw 21.
