Abstract
643,255 Stuffing - box substitutes ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLA. GET. Sept. 24, 1948, No 24985. Convention date Oct. 9, 1947. [Class 122(v)] In a sealing device for a bearing sleeve 1 which receives a shaft 4 having clockwise and anticlockwise turning movement therein, rings 8 are arranged on part of an extension 2 of the sleeve 1 and an elastic hose 9 is pressed over a shoulder 5 on the shaft 4, said rings 8 and that part of the extension 2 not covered by the rings 8. The surface of the shulder 5 and the external surface of that part of the extension 2 not covered by the rings 8, are grooved and are in sealing relationship with the hose 9.
