Abstract

641,610. Swash-plate pumps. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and TREVASKIS, H. W. Sept. 30, 1947, No. 26348. [Class 102(i)] A swash-plate pump in which the pistons 6 are acutated in the suction stroke by the wobble member 15 and on the delivery stroke by springs 17; a rubber ring 19 is provided on each piston to reduce shocks. The pistons control suction ports 34 in the cylinder sleeves 21 and the output of each cylinder may in addition be varied by axial adjustment of the sleeve 21 in the pump housing by the screw threads 23. A delivery valve housing 26 is retained in position by the pipe union 32 and nut 33 and the ball valve 28 engages a holder 29 guided in the sleeve 30. The inlet pipe 2 may be provided with a filter as described in Specification 632,412.
