640,665. Fixing broom handles. HOWDEN, W. T. Oct. 13, 1947, No. 27367. [Class 61 (i)] The handle B of a brush is secured to the stock A by a tubular ferrule C having bores near one end to receive a transverse split pin D passing through the handle, the projecting ends G of the pin abutting against one side of the stock, and a nut E which is screwed on the other end of the ferrule and which abuts against the opposite side of the stock. The ends G seat in metallined recesses H and the nut E in a recess K.
