[Class 65 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A T-shape casing for a door closer is made by pressure die-casting and is provided with a liner sleeve 18 disposed in the end of the limb in which the piston operates. The liner sleeve may be of steel and the casing of zinc alloy, the metal of the casing preferably being cast around the liner sleeve. The liner has one or more circumferential grooves 19.
