[Class 96] [Also in Group XX] Sodium alginate size is applied to paper which may be porous, or which may also be starch surface-sized and beater-sized, and a layer containing a light-sensitive diazo compound applied, a coupling component being added, e.g. with the sensitizer, which may be applied before or after drying the size. Hydrolyzed starch, chlorinated starch, or starch with sodium oleate may be used.
