Abstract

638,211. Spray - producers. WALTON, R. Aug. 25, 1947, No. 23411. [Class 69 (iii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A device for spraying continuous internal surfaces, e.g. water mains, comprises a carriage to which is articulated a link frame on which is mounted the spraying device including a nozzle k. Two pairs of resilient frame members d, d<SP>1</SP>, e, e<SP>1</SP>, are pivotally mounted on the ends of an axle c carrying wheels a, b. The converging ends of the frame members are pivotally mounted to a sleeve j on a tube g, at the end of which is the nozzle k, and to the tube g respectively. The position of the sleeve on the tube g is adjustable, whereby the device can be accommodated in mains of varying size.
