636,730. Knickers. AAL, J. R. S. March 21, 1947, No. 1663/49. Divided out of 636,684. [Class 141] Knickers, which are made to fit closely to the body, have a crotch portion designed to support a sanitary appliance and comprising two overlapping parts adapted to be secured together, each part being lined, with a piece of waterproof material. As shown, the garment is provided at the waist and legs with elastic edgings or elastic cords 1, 2 and ribbon ties 4, at V-shaped recesses 3, 5, to enable it to fit closely. Front and back crotch flaps 9, 17, adapted to be secured together by buttons are provided on the inside with removable waterproof pieces of material 12 attached by ribbon ties 11.
