633,816. Floors ; roofs. CLARK, R. M., and BORER, H. F. Feb. 17, 1948, No. 4552. [Class 20 (iv)] Concrete floors or flat roofs constructed from precast units comprise reinforced hollow beams A of triangular cross-section and top slabs B with keying projections G on their underside bearing on the sloping sides of adjacent beams. The slabs which are wide enough to extend between three or more beams are grouted in with liquid concrete poured in the joints. For light loads, alternate beams may be omitted and pre-cast hollow filler blocks I substituted. These rest on ledges D on the beam sides and provide a flat soffit with the base of the beams. In situ concrete E binds the floor together, a finishing screed or top layer F giving a smooth surface.
