633,197. Gas meters. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ. Sept. 25, 1947, No. 26065. Convention date, Oct. 28, 1946. Addition to 580,460. [Class 54] An improvement in or modification of the dry gas meter with one bellows described and claimed in the parent Specification comprises a dry gas meter of the bellows type mounted in a casing wherein the casing is made in a number of parts arranged for easy assembly and all the meter elements are carried on one of the said parts whereby these elements can be readily inspected without dismantling the apparatus, the casing being made in a plurality of parts including a central part, all said meter elements being mounted on the central part, which is shaped to provide abutment surfaces for the diaphragm in its end positions, and wherein the valve mechanism is also carried on the central part of the casing, there being provided in the valve box 20, 21 a second membrane 33 balancing the first 34 and which allows of placing, outside the gas, the two guides 35, 36 of each valve spindle 19A.
