Abstract

631,424. Preventing rattling of doors, windows, &c. SMART, G. R. Aug. 1, 1947, No. 20993. [Class 20(iii)] A rocking arm 3 is mounted on a pivot pin 5 carried by a bracket 6 secured to the edge of a window frame 1 which slides between channels 2. A spring 7 anchored at one end to the bracket and at the other to a pin 11 on which one of the rollers 4 mounted at both forked ends of the rocking arm is freely rotatable, causes the arm to turn so that the rollers bear against the opposite faces of channel 2 and check loose movement of the window. Specification 601,228 is referred to.
