[Class 110(iii)] In plant in which the furnace gases of a steam-generator, water heater or other furnace are used to heat the working medium of a gas turbine, an additional combustion chamber for heating this medium is provided for use when the furnace is working at partial load or when the gas turbine is carrying an overload. The additional combustion chamber may be used for the regulation of the gas turbine. The combustion chamber may be in series with a heating coil in the furnace flue. The gas turbine exhaust may be used to preheat the compressed air or the feed water, to heat the combustion air for the furnace and as that combustion air. Part, also, may be supplied to an external user.
