Abstract
629,973. Notice boards &c. MILLS & ROCKLEYS, Ltd., and MILLS, J. W. June 28,1947, No. 17115. [Class 3(ii)] [Also in Group XXII] A panel 11, Fig. 2, for supporting a poster or the like has a raised surround 12 of channel section, the flanges 13 of which are at right angles to and terminate in the plane of the rear face of the panel so as to give rigidity when the panel is mounted on a plane surface. The panel is secured to the surface by screws &c. passed through holes in the surround. To make the surround, the four corners of a metal sheet are cut out, as shown in Fig. 5, and the margins are bent upwardly about lines 16 and downwardly about lines 19. The abutting edges 20, 21, 22 are welded or secured to an integral angle bracket by rivets.
