Abstract

1,261,068. Portable drawing desks. D. B. URQUHART, and R. BROADLEY. 19 June, 1970 [30 June, 1969], No. 32958/69. Heading B6A. A portable drawing desk formed from a foldable cardboard blank (Fig. 2) Comprises a forwardly inclined upper drawing supporting surface 10, trapezoidal sides 15 and a channel 13 extending along the rear edge of the supporting surface 10 and serving for location therein of a roll 12 of drawing paper, the edge of the channel opposite the rear edge being associated with a ledge provided with spaced apertures 24 in which are disposed coloured drawing implements 25. The drawing supporting face is overlaid by a masking frame 11 to locate a length of the paper on the face and a used up length of the paper is torn off by pulling it against a serrated edge 14.
