Abstract

513,789. Fireplace surrounds- PYATT, T. M. April 20, 1938, No. 11806. [Class 126] A separately detachable panel 3 is secured to a fireplace surround 2 on each side of the fireplace opening, and if desired across the top of the opening, the panels being either flush with or recessed rearwardly of the face of the surround. The surround 2 and panels 3 are detachably connected, by nuts and bolts and dowels, to a rear frame or sheet of metal. The width of the fireplace opening may be varied by varying the width of 'the panels, or by sliding the panels behind the surround.
