Abstract

628,532. Pulse carrier frequencies. PHILCO RADIO & TELEVISION CORPORATION. June 11, 1945, No. 14709. Convention date, May 11, 1944. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In a circuit for generating bursts of sine waves a resonant circuit is connected effectively in the grid and anode circuits of a valve, a signal being applied to the grid to control the conductance of the valve. A parallel resonant circuit is connected in the cathode lead of a triode, which is rendered non-conducting by a negative-going square wave applied to the grid. The resonant circuit oscillates with small decrement, until the square wave reverses, whereupon the valve exerts heavy damping. Specification 587,592 is referred to.
