580,990. Valve generating circuits. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and WILLIAMS, H. P. July 28, 1944, No. 14492. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In a circuit for producing a high order harmonic (e.g. 3 kc.) of a given frequency (e.g. 50 c.p.s.), current of the given frequency is made to saturate a triode producing rectangular waves from which a tuned output circuit selects the desired harmonic. The harmonic frequency so obtained is applied to the control grid of a tetrode which is connected up as a dynatron oscillator having its anode tuned to the harmonic frequency. A potentiometer is provided whereby the grid bias of the tetrode may be adjusted so that the harmonic derived from the triode synchronises the oscillations of the dynatron.
