Abstract

628,213. Smallarms. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK. Sept. 19, 1947, No. 25527. Convention date, Sept. 19, 1946. Addition to 617,133. [Class 119] The invention of the parent Specification is now modified by providing means which prevent the removal of the safety device from the breech bolt whilst the latter is in position in the firearm. The means shown consists of (1) a projection 17 which by engaging in a recess in the breech casing prevents withdrawal of the pin 9 when the parts are in the " fire " position, and (2) a keyhole slot 12 in the striker 3 for engaging an annular recess 91 in the pin 9 when the parts are in the " safe " position.
