[Class 9 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] An appliance for punching holes in metal &c. sheets comprises a container 6 housing a guide 7 for a cone section. projectile-punch 8 and an explosive charge 10. When a detonator 11 is fired the charge is exploded, retaining pins 9 are sheared, and the projectile 8 is flattened to cylindrical form and forced through the sheet.
