Abstract
627,408. Spring clips. JENKINS, R. G. C. (Kost, H. W.). Jan. 11, 1947, No. 1031. [Class 44) A holding device for condensers, fuses and the like comprises a pair of resilient arms 5 extending upwardly from a base 6 having flanges 14 adapted to slide beneath ears 15 struck from the supporting panel 7 the arms being provided with fingers 17 whose ends 18 lie slightly below the plane of the base 6 when the clip is detached from the panel, but when in use press against the support to resist spreading of the arms. Spring fingers 12 may be struck from the upper half of the arms to ensure a tighter grip on the object 9 and the free ends of the arms are bent back upon themselves to form finger pieces 10. A screw receiving hole 21 is provided for use when the panel 7 has no ears 15.
