626,461. Heat-retaining vessels. LOCKWOOD, L. A. May 1, 1946, No. 13213. [Class 64(ii)] An insulated container for a baby's bottle consists of an outer cardboard tube 14 having a metal base closure 10 and containing a smaller inner cardboard tube 20 also having a metal base closure 21, and a metal rim 15 attached to the tops of these tubes and extending across the dead air space 26 between them. A cardboard ring 25 supports the bottom of the inner tube. The container thus formed as closed by a cap 29 made from the same materials and having a dead air space 37 formed by an inner ring 35 and disc 36, both of cardboard, and a metal top 30. Inner and outer surfaces are covered with metal foil 39. A modification (not shown) has a rubber cap, instead of, that described above, having an aperture for the protrusion of the bottle teat. A rubber support for the base for positioning the container in an inclined position is also described.
