[Also in Group XIII] Inner and outer containers, e.g. of a plastic material, are joined at their rims with an air space between to form an insulated jug (see Group XIII) and a hollow lid is formed in similar manner but has a skirt with an opening 16 which can be made to register with the jug spout, for pouring, by rotation of the lid. The inner surfaces of either or both of the moulded components 8, 9 of the lid may be silvered and the top 9 may be transparent.
