Abstract

623,288. Endless-chain conveyers. MORRIS, J. E., GAGG, J., HUDSON, W. S., and MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd. April 25, 1947, No. 11128. [Class 78 (i)] In a conveyer of the kind in which articles are moved along a table by pushers mounted on and projecting above an endless chain, in order that the conveyer may be used for a wide range of articles, each pusher 7 is pivoted at 6 to a bracket 5 on a crossbar 4 bridging the chains 1 and is provided with a long article engaging member 8 at one end and a shorter member 9 at the other end. By turning the pusher about the pivot 6 either of these members can be brought into operative position. The pusher is locked in either position by passing a spring-pressed pin 11 through an aperture in the bracket 5 into one of the holes 10. The distance between the guides 15, 16 can be varied.
