621,790. Fluid-pressure servomotor-control systems. COCKBURNS, Ltd., RODGER, J., and GRANT, T. Oct. 25, 1945, Nos. 28176/45 and 9969/46. [Class 135] Temperature-responsive valve control equipment applicable, e.g. to refrigeration plants and de-superheating installations, includes a coiled tube 11 filled with temperature sensitive fluid and having one end connected to a chamber 14 incorporating a pressure-responsive member, e.g. the diaphragm 15, acting on the plunger 18, and having its other end connected to a pocket 16 of which the volume is variable, e.g. through the hand wheel 17<SP>1</SP> acting on the diaphragm 17, for adjusting the sensitivity of the device. The plunger 18 rocks a lever 19 to open successively three spring- loaded primary valves, one of which 21 is shown, to control the exhaust of pressure fluid from the cylinders of piston-operated secondary valves in supply lines. Pressure fluid in the line leaks past the piston and loads the piston to close the valve. In a modification the primary valves may be arranged to supply pressure fluid to the cylinders for opening modified secondary valves, the latter closing when the supply ceases.
