[Classes 52 (ii), 52 (iii) and 52 (v)] A high chair for infants in which the seat can be moved from a high to a low position relative to its frame comprises a seat 8 secured to links 4 pivotally attached to a frame 1. To prevent angular movement between the links when they are parallel to the ground a third link 14 is pivotally connected to arms 13 on the links 4. Alternatively a third link may be connected between the seat and the frame. To provide a limit to the rearward movement of the links a U-shaped member. 7 attached to the seat engages a bar 6 on the frame. To prevent accidental displacement of the seat from its high position the member 7 may be held against the bar 6 by a bolt 10 or by a catch 11 engaging an extension 12 on the link 4. A footrest 18 is hinged to lugs on the chair. A tray 22 having a frame 23 and legs 25 may be fitted on upstanding spigots 26 on the chair in the position shown in Fig. 3 or in Fig. 4. A further mounting for the reversible tray is shown in Fig. 10 where two brackets 27 have limbs 28 slotted at 29 to engage spigots 30. The limbs 28 carry spigots 31 which can be sprung into alternate holes 32.
