Abstract

621,403. Boxes; packing. CHRISTENSSONS MASKINER & PATENTER AKTIEBOLAGET. Oct. 8, 1946, No. 30013. Convention date, Nov. 13, 1940. [Classes 18, 66 and 94(i)] A cardboard or like box with an inner lining 1 protruding beyond the ends of flaps 3, 4, 5, 6 has the flaps 3, 4, 5 connected together at the corners and the flaps 3, 5 scored diagonally at 7, 8 so that the connected flaps can be folded inwardly as shown in Fig. 2 and the projecting portion of the lining imprisoned between the edge of flap 4 and the free flap 6 when the latter is pasted down. The flaps 3, 4 may have recesses 9, 10 to facilitate folding. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a centrally disposed line of perforations on the flap 6 to facilitate opening of the box and to provide a tab that can be inserted in a slit in flap 4 when the package is to be closed again. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
