619,479. Hose couplings. MILLAR, J. H., and AVIATION CORPORATES, Ltd. Dec. 12, 1946, No. 36734. [Class 99 (i)] A hose coupling comprises a spigot element 2 provided with a bulbous enlargement 3 and an internally taperthreaded nut member 6 which is screwed over the hose end to clamp said end firmly against the enlargement. The minimum internal diameter of the nut is greater than the diameter of the enlargement so that the nut may be slipped endwise over the spigot. The Specification gives formulµ relating to the relative dimensions of the component parts of the coupling.
