[Class 37] In a condenser having quartz as dielectric, the quartz is deposited by vacuum evaporation upon a metal electrode, and a second metal electrode is preferably similarly deposited on the quartz. The first electrode may be formed by depositing a metallic film, by vacuum evaporation, upon a base of resilient insulating material such as polyvinyl chloride or polystyrene.
