618,564. Pottery-drying stoves. BOULTON, Ltd., W., and LEWIS, R. T. Nov. 5, 1946. No. 32765. [Class 34(ii)] The circular drying compartment 10 is intermittently rotated for loading and discharging, and has a number of radially divided chambers each containing one set of shelves 11. Each chamber carries two vertical air pipes 16 which register with holes 15 in the air supply chamber 14. The air passes from heater 19 and chamber 14 to pipes 16, and is discharged through perforations 16a to the shelves in the horizontal direction. Passing from compartment 10 through outlets 17 the air is recirculated, a portion being exhausted at 22, fresh air being admitted through an opening 21. Specification 493,852 is referred to.
